Recruit's Log, Part 2 - an Operation Hungry Walrus narrative

25th June - we woke up suddenly in the night. It seems Brutus broke the terms of the truce and shot down an O-12 flagship.

25th June bis - boss says we are still in the game. Our dispatch continues.

26th June - the situation is critical. There’s a lot of talk about reinforcements, someone mentioned the incoming fresh korean troops. “Jujaks and more”, they said.. I don’t have much information at the moment.

26th June bis  - Intels suggest the location of a Brutus node, somewhere beneath the landing pads. A group was sent to deal with it.

26th June ter - the node was indeed cracked successfully, but the area was hot due to the extraction of a Tohaa admiral. A gunfight followed. No vacancy at the ER again.

30th June - a new meat appeared in food rations. Beasthunters say it is from the giant walruses that inhabit the coast. Unusual yet not unpleasant.

2nd July - I’ve heard something about a possible HVT to be extracted at the Virtual Park. A squad was sent.

2nd July bis - All they’ve found was JSA’s resistance. They got mauled pretty hard.

4th July - Still no news about those korean reinforcements.

8th July - we pack up, time to get back to the beloved frozen tundra of Huangdi. I must say I won’t miss the damp hot climate of New Hypatia. Whatever will happen to this place, is not a concern anymore. Not for us, at least.

9th July - Invincible Army operatives should have already taken us over in Selèntra, they were delayed in the mess of the upper atmosphere. 

9th July bis - A squad was sent to investigate an intrusion in the labs. Even on the day of the departure! Thieves have no respect.

9th July tris - Nomads. Again. What they found is unclear, our guys were beaten pretty badly. 

10th July - the departure has been delayed. Injured comrades will spend their convalescence in the ER of the DIU, since our was dismantled pretty quickly.

15th July - rumors of problems at the blockades led the boss to speed up the procedures. Tonight we will travel back home. According to those rumors, the situation is getting worse every hour. This would be a great moment for those korean reinforcement to finally show up!
